Why Artists Choose خطوط
A shop that treats your work like it matters —
because it does.
We started Khotoot because we were tired of buying beautiful tools from soulless warehouses. A pencil is a promise. A blank page is an invitation. Whoever hands them to you should believe that too.
— the Khotoot family
01
Curated by working artists
Every pencil, pan, and paper on our shelves earned its place in someone's real practice first. If we wouldn't reach for it, we don't stock it.
02
Tools, not inventory
We write honest descriptions, show real swatches, and tell you when the cheaper option is the better one. Trust outlasts any single sale.
03
Packed like it matters
Paper corners protected, glass double-wrapped, a small surprise tucked inside. Your order should feel like a parcel from a friend.
04
Here after the checkout
Stuck choosing a nib? Colour not behaving? Write to us — an actual artist replies, usually with a sketch.

Customer Reviews
Letters From Our Artists
We keep every note customers send us. Here are a few, pinned to the studio wall.
“I came in for a sketchbook and left feeling like an artist again. Everything is chosen with such care — you can tell the people behind this actually draw.”
Sarah H.
Illustrator
“My order arrived wrapped like a gift, with a handwritten note. It's the only art store where the unboxing is part of the inspiration.”
Omar K.
Architecture student
“As a calligrapher, I'm picky about nibs and ink. Khotoot stocks things I used to import myself — and they answer questions like fellow artists, not a help desk.”
Lina M.
Calligrapher
